The all-new 2023 gmc canyon, the full redesign and we are going over the canyon from front to back talking about the interior, the engine options and everything you need to know about this
all new model, and this one is the denali spec, so this is the lux version with all sorts of fun gadgets in gizmos on the inside.
Exterior Design
It's bold, it's fresh, it's new and i have to say i really really like it, with running lights and headlight design with the little gmc logo.
With the large grille treatment and in charge gmc logo. One of the most interesting things about the new canyon is that regardless of whether or not you get a two-wheel drive truck or a four-wheel drive truck it's gonna come equipped with what they call a lift a factory lift a two inch lift or if you get the new at4x the ultimateoff-road version it's going to be lifted.
The wheelbase has been stretched and that is to accommodate the
new engine, so imagine if you were to take an old canyon hold it by the rear axle and then kind of pull the front down front end out a little bit that's where that increase in wheelbase comes from got a nice short overhang on this new model.
Engine
Engine is something pretty special now in the current generation
canyon you really have a two iconic engines the 3.6 liter v6 and then of course the babymax a small duramax diesel engine, but for this newest generation they've gone to one engine in one configuration and one output what you're looking at there is a four cylinder turbocharged engine the 2.7 you've seen it in cadillacs you've seen it in the full-size trucks.
Interior
The new Canyon gets a lot right about the interior. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, while physical climate controls are a welcome sight, huddled over a line of auxiliary switches. The AT4X and Denali both get a head-up display as standard, though it is not available on other trims. The dash features an 11.3-inch infotainment system. The higher trims get an 11-inch digital gauge cluster while the lower trims are stuck with a smaller 8.0-inch version. Opt for the Denali, and you get open-pore wood on the dash featuring a laser-etched design. Quilted leather covers the seats and rides across both the dash and door panels.
Release
Initial production is expected to start early 2023, with the AT4X having to wait a bit longer until spring 2023.
